The Mets have signed infielder Brandon Drury to a minor league deal.
Who is Brandon Drury, you ask?
Well, he was included in EVERY single trade proposal two years ago which would have sent Jacob deGrom to the Yankees.
Good thing we waited, huh?
On the other hand, we could have a Ronald Torreyes, Miguel Andujar and Brandon Drury infield right now. LOL.
Over his seven year career, Drury has played third base, second base and shortstop, but for the most part has manned the hot corner.
He reunites with Jared Porter who was the assistant GM in Arizona in 2017.
