Put a cherry on top of the disaster that was Brodie Van Wagenen’s tenure as Mets’ GM.
Robinson Canó has been suspended for the 2021 season after testing positive for PED use.
In a way, this makes things easier. We don’t need to worry about him being locked in as our designated hitter down the line. We don’t need to worry about his skills diminishing as he approaches 40 years old. And we don’t need to worry about his gigantic yearly salary.
Unfortunately for Canó, he no longer needs to worry about Cooperstown.
Again. What an ASININE trade.
