The Mets have made an acquisition.
The Amazin’s have signed relief pitcher Hunter Strickland, and added him to their 60 man player pool.
Strickland was released by the Nationals back in March after a disappointing spring training. He posted a 5.55 ERA over 28 relief appearances last year between Seattle and Washington.
His best days may be behind him, but some more bullpen depth can’t hurt.
