The Mets were very busy today.
In addition to signing Hunter Strickland, the team signed veterans Gordon Beckham and Melky Cabrera.
The Mets are getting the band back together! And by band, I mean the 2016 San Francisco Giants.
All three players have been added to the Mets player pool.
The Mets also re-signed outfielder Ryan Cordell and pitcher Erasmo Ramirez.
Can’t have enough depth, right?
Let’s just hope that they don’t see any game action.
I’m just playing. (But I’m saying…)
All jokes aside, Cordell did look good in Spring Training for the Mets. Good depth signings.
