Rhame Up, Gagnon Down

The Mets pitching carousel continues.

After giving the Mets some much needed innings after Steven Matz was unable to record an out, Drew Gagnon was sent back down to Syracuse.

The Mets have called on Jacob Rhame to take his place.

Initially acquired from Los Angeles at the end of the 2017 season in the Curtis Granderson trade, Jacob Rhame’s tenure as a Met has been shaky at best.

Sandy Alderson loved to target right handed relievers who throw 100 MPH. Let’s just say it hasn’t worked out so far.

Let’s hope Rhame figures it all out this time around.
