QUESTION: Name the only person who was in uniform for both Met titles, 1969 and 1986.

ANSWER: Bud Harrelson. He was a player in 1969 and a coach in 1986.

  1. Davey Johnson was also on the field. He played second base and made the last out of the 1969 World Series for the Baltimore Orioles (flying out to Cleon Jones), and of course managed the Mets to the 1986 World Series.

    1. That’s correct! I should have worded that better.. who was in a “Mets uniform” for both titles.
