Let’s get BOLD!
You see, I have these visions. I never know when they’ll come. I never know what they’ll contain.
But they are vivid. And they usually come to fruition. So I want to share them with you.
Enjoy!
BRANDON NIMMO WILL HAVE A BETTER SEASON THAN STARLING MARTE.
Brandon Nimmo is a terrific player. And I think everyone knows it besides Met fans. All he would need to is replicate his 2018 season and he’d reestablish himself as one of the best players in the league.
Well, he will do that and make everyone in Mets nation glad we didn’t pull the trigger on a deal with Pittsburgh.
ZACK WHEELER WILL BE A TOP 3 PITCHER IN THE NL EAST.
Mets fans are going to regret celebrating Wheeler leaving town.
By most metrics, Wheeler was a top ten pitcher in baseball the last two seasons. Now he’s going to be pitching to a competent catcher in J.T Realmuto.
Also, really? We are taking Brodie’s side? Badmouthing players on the way out is what we do now?
AMED ROSARIO BECOMES A STAR.
Not long ago, Rosario was the number one prospect in all of baseball. This year Rosario will live up to that lofty billing.
Sure, he’s shown flashes. His second half last year was terrific. Well, he’s going to put it all together in 2020.
And it’s going to be fun as hell to watch!
NOAH SYNDERGAARD IMPROVES ON HIS 2016 SEASON.
Last year was rough. I think that Noah would be the first to tell you that. By all metrics, last season was the worst of his career.
Well, 2020 will be the best of his career.
How about this? If Jacob deGrom doesn’t three-peat, it could be Noah Syndergaard standing in his way!
METS WIN THE NL EAST IN 2020.
This team is going to be a LOT of fun to watch this upcoming season.
Last but not least. This is my favorite prediction. I will LOVE watching this one play out. This prediction isn’t just for the 2020 season. It’s for the next decade plus…
THE PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES WILL BE UNABLE TO GET OUT OF THEIR OWN WAY FOR THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF BRYCE HARPER’S CONTRACT.
Oh no! Bryce Harper! Joe Girardi!
Don’t even worry about it Mets fans. They’ll be struggling to stay in front of the Marlins going forward.
